As noted in the Rules, there shall be no direct communication between any Party to a disciplinary proceeding and the Adjudications Officer on substantive matters relating to the case other than at oral hearings, unless the Parties and the Adjudications Officer agree otherwise.

Appeals from a decision by the Adjudications Officer can be filed with the District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan within fourteen days of the decision.
